As mentioned in previous threads, 2,400 miles and 1 track day in, here’s my tire wear on the Cup 2s. I was hoping to get one more track day (with the camber adjusted next time) and a couple months out of them, but yesterday I got a nail in a rear tire - angled in the edge of one of the treads. I was able to plug it for now, but I’m not going to do another track day on a plugged tire. And it seems pointless to spend $500 on another Cup 2 with the others having so much wear already. I think I’m going to just replace them all right now with Pilot Super Sports. Had them on my ‘19 Vette Grand Sport and liked them on the track. Got a couple track days and around 12K miles out of them. Kinda sucks to trash the Cup 2s after only 3 weeks, but it seems like my best option with a November track day approaching. . Any other suggestions?

Supercar 3.
But it looks like you're not down to wearbars yet so just run them on the street, provided it's dry.

maybe look at sport 4s for the street, and another, lighter, set of wheels for the track with an aggressive race tire.

If looking for a street and track tire. Falken Azenis RT660 are good ones.

Tough call, there isn’t many options in our sizing. Goodyear supercar3 are not available. I’ll be running 315s square when the time comes

my plan is to try the RT66O on the Mach, I had them on my track driven GT and really like them

How much track time could you get out of a set?
I think I can work around the temperature limits of a summer tire since I don’t have to drive on a daily basis (retired), but I’d love to be able to get 10-12K miles with 3-4 track days also out of a set of tires. Seems like I might be able to get that out of a set of Pilot Sport 4S, like I did with the Pilot Super Sports my Vette had.

The All Seasons that come stock on the new Vette seem ideal but it appears they don’t make them in 19”.

I think tire life on track is also really dependent on the track itself.
