I have a pp1 convertible and recently got a pretty big bolt in my tire. Took it to the shop and they replaced the rear tire for me ( same pilot 4s ). I had about 8k miles on my car. They told me that the tires were in good shape so I can get away with one. I now notice a very very light imbalance in the driveline. Will take it back tomorrow to have them rebalance both rears. Just curious if there is a chance that this is caused by having uneven worn tires on the rear. Thoughts ?

Probably just wasn’t balanced perfectly. To me, the worse thing with the verts is with the top up any imperfection of an out of balanced tire is amplified with the top vibrating. Top down not really noticeable as I imagine the same with a coupe.

That was also my first thought when I read this thread.
