Hey all,

Can anyone recommend me a good tint shop? I've had the car for a little over a year now and I know I should have gotten it done way before (stupid California laws) but I guess it's better late then never.

Thanks.

I used Sunbusters Window Tinting on 183 near the Covert Ford dealership, because that's who Covert uses and they've seen a ton of new Mustangs.

They did a good job, very happy with the results. I had them fix a spot where a GoPro suction cup pulled the tint off the window in the first few months. They worked it at no charge and fixed 95% of the issue, so I'm a happy customer.

+1 SunBustersTint off 183. Get the Llumar FormulaOne tint.
Lifetime warranty. On a previous car, I damaged the drivers side window tint after it being on 5 years...used an eyeglasses cleaner wipe...had alcohol in it.
Anyway, they removed the damaged film, and installed new...free of charge.

I've had 2 cars tinted there.

This is probably a late response, but...

I had mine untinted for over a year and finally got it done a couple of months back at Austin Window Tint: 411 Tillery St, Austin, TX 78702

They did a good job, I have no bubbles or defects in any of the tinting. Also, I've got a lifetime warranty, so if anything goes wrong with the tint, they are supposed to change it for free.

Thanks for the response. If you don't mind, how much did you pay?

I paid $300, which is on the expensive side, but I got the highest level of tint they offer - the ceramic tint, which keeps out the most heat. This comes with the lifetime warranty, so for me it was worth it considering I plan on having the car for a long time.

They also had a $180 (if memory serves me correct) option that was non-ceramic, but had a lifetime warranty too.
