  1. Replacing Rear End

yeah I found a few but I was hoping to get a brand new one since mine only has 60K miles. Not too confident in a used one
  2. Replacing Rear End

So my rear end is growling when I’m on the highway and let off the gas. Shop I talked with said they would just put in a whole new rear end instead of trying to diagnose the part that needs to be replaced. I have a 15 GT automatic with 3.15 gears though. Should I just buy this from LMR and get...
  3. Roaring noise from rear end

yeah the shop I called said it would be 1200 just for the labor and weren’t sure on how much the parts would be.
  4. Roaring noise from rear end

Only changed the rear passenger because that seemed to be where the noise was coming from. I’m thinking it’s ring and pinion failure now too. Really not looking forward to that repair bill.
  5. Roaring noise from rear end

56K as far as I’m aware. Bought used with 40K miles.
  6. Roaring noise from rear end

I have searched and searched the forums and haven’t found anything. At 40 to 60 the noise isn’t that noticeable (thanks to exhaust) but if I let off throttle it’s very much noticeable. Sounds like a growling/roaring and I’m thinking a bad bearing in the differential based on this video I...
  7. Front lower valance replacement

Oh buddy, I wish. Here’s a review I left them.
  8. Front lower valance replacement

Has anyone replaced their valance ? Wondering if it’s just a few screws and/or push pins or what. shope tried to pull it onto alignment rack and wasn’t paying attention. Luckily it didn’t break the front bumper tabs.
  9. Do Not Buy A Used car!!!!!

Exactly why I jumped on the deal for mine last year in July. Now it’s worth more but I’m not trying to sell it
  10. Starting engine

Found the issue and remedy, within this thread. I’m sure others will need this information. It’s all related to a small yellowish clear plastic piece within the brake assembly https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/brake-light-switch-near-pedal-failure.122100/
  11. Brake Light Switch (near pedal) Failure

This group and specifically this thread just saved me (based on other users comments) 500 - 900 dollars. Magnets worked like a charm! I’m sure some more people will experience this with their 2015 models but for reference my car only had 51K miles when this happened yesterday.
  12. Starting engine

Cruise isn’t available and while at a light it said hill climb assist not available
  13. Starting engine

So it may be related to a possible bad gas problem causing loss of throttle response until I let off throttle but has anyone been able to start their car without putting foot on the brake? I believe for the manuals you have to push in the clutch only but for autos you should have to push in...
  14. Front turn signal housing removal.

Thanks! I found a video on CJ pony parts too. Found out that the actual connection prongs were weak on the plug and had to fix those. Now it’s snug
  15. Front turn signal housing removal.

So this just happened to me. Do you have a diagram or anything I can use as a visual?
  16. Locking out IMRC on stock manifold

Does anyone know what needs to be capped off? I’m sure that one on the back of manifold does
  17. Imrc lockout, reinstall

So I pulled the Gen 2 manifold off, installed the lockouts. Now I’m trying to figure out what needs to be capped or reinstalled to prevent any issues. I thought the hose leading through passenger side of IM could be deleted
  18. Header hitting frame of car

Have any pictures of steering shaft clearance after this?
  19. LT Headers - yours and why?

2M. Live and learn but if I had to do it over again I probably would’ve just ponied up more money for a better fitment. Nothing crazy but like EPTS550 said, steering shaft and passenger side frame rail. Not a job I would reccomend for any weekend mechanics but if you do it yourself (with the...
