The Mustang is no longer with me. I miss it on a daily basis and still play my own videos just to hear the sound lol.

I got the car in may 2018 and it was traded in December and I managed to drive it some 15k miles eventhough it had been sitting at dealers(for different issues for 15w in total). The modifications I had done to the car did set it apart specially here in Sweden and was a head-turner for sure not only for the looks and also for the sounds (Borla Atak :D).

I would have liked to tune it for more juice but I never dared to do so considering the history with the car. Some cars are unfortunately possessed and that is just the way it is and has nothing to do with the brand or model(most of the time).

I want to thank you all on this forum for the great knowledge sharing and also want to thank the Mustang community in general as it is truly aswesome. I will be sticking around and reading and sharing whenever I can, I have tried to contribute in the forums and also on youtube with regards to install videos/reviews etc. I still have some videos to upload :)

For those of you that are interested I did upload a video talking a bit on why I decided to trade the car in
Again thank you all and see you on the next one

Sorry to see you've sold it..........although I can understand why! Hopefully we'll see you in an S650 in a few years!

Stick around though, your input has always been valuable on M6G :)

Yes it seems so :(
It is very unfortunate as I really loved the car as such.
Sucks driving a "normal" car

My 2018 was delivered about the same time as yours. Flat Rock made at least two terrible cars at the beginning of 2018. Mine was sold at the end of August.
A real disappointment.

Anyone who has heard the sound of your engine wouldn't be surprised that you got fed up and wanted to sell. Really horrible noises! You know enough now that if you decided to take a chance on a '19 or '20 you should be able to find a good one. My '19 has 8800 miles and still no tic/flutter. I feel very fortunate because these are unique cars and I hope to be driving one for a long time. Best of luck and never say never!!

Same here Mazman. Hopefully you will consider another Mustang in the future. I'm sure the next one will be perfect! :fingerscrossed:

Thank you

Its is indeed a shame that things did go this way. It is what it is but I at least had the opportunity to own one. I believe we will have one more gen with v8's however coupled witha electric motor before it all goes south :D

Glad that you are enjoying the car

I was one day away from trading it in to 2019 red GT a couple of months ago. However I changed my mind as I would go mad if there would have been any issues with that one as well.

Let's see what the S650 brings .... Maybe a Mach E :D

Same here Mazman. Hopefully you will consider another Mustang in the future. I'm sure the next one will be perfect! :fingerscrossed:

@Bluemustang Covering the major parts...

-Scoring on cylinder 3 -> engine was swapped
-Intake manifold was swapped
-Injectors was swapped
-Lift off rattle on new motor
-Typewriter tick was so loud it could be heard from 5-6m distance on the new motor
-Front passenger door had at some point nudged the front fender both parts painted(spot)
-Decklid had nudged the rear fender at some point both parts repainted
-Decklid had been nudging against rubber seal where the rear window is to the extent that the rubber seal was blu in color(no paint left on the decklid in those areas). This was never fixed
-Trim around the passenger side window in the rear not glued properly(I could fit a finger in between the window and trim). This was never fixed

Amongst other things....

Also an interesting observation. I filled up the oil with 0.5L end of August. On 30th of September I changed the oil and only 7.5L was drained (including the oil in the filter). Car was in for service in April .... I had driven it for 8000-9000km after the service when I changed the oil in September.

What issues did your car have?
