Time frame to change order

Hi all, got a question. The dealer order for my car was put in last Tuesday, March 17th. I am thinking of changing it from manual transmission to auto transmission. Has anyone else had a second thought about a change after the order was put in? Thanks.

do you have a vin yet? if you have a vin then i'm affraid its too late to make any changes

from what I heard, before the build date you can get it changed

My dealer tried to add the performance package to a car they already had on order since it would've been exactly what I wanted, but the car already had a vin so even though it was still processing, it couldn't be changed.

Yeah, tried changing my order too to add 401A, couldn't do it.
