Time for new tires

wow. thats a great price
i may just order some from them because it will save me 400 dollars. also, IMO PZero are not that bad. This is my first performance car. so i dont know a lot about tires. all i know is going from PZero Nero to the PZero was a night and day difference.
those are the 275/40r19. what is the difference between those and the 275/40zr19?

FWIW, tire tread wear rating is not a standardized measurement. One companies 280 tire may wear better than someone else's 340. Also, the best tire for one vehicle may not be the best for a different one.
One of the more interesting comparisons I read was they took three cars with a 1/2 dozen different tires sized for the cars. The tester was a national autocross champion and he didn't know which tire he was driving on. It was interesting that characteristics he spoke highly of on one car and the same tire on a different car was not as good.
What I took away from that article was unless you are going to the track all the time and are burning through tires and keep trying different tires there is no way to know which is going to be best for you on a particular car.
For the way I drive I have no complaints with the Pzeros but when it comes time for new tires I have a very simple formula. My son runs a tire store and Continental is their primary premium brand. He can gets me a raging deal so it will be ExtremeContact DW.

When the tire tends to follow lines or grooves in the road. Mostly noticeable in low speed situations like coming to a stop light. The tires will follow the lines or indentations in the road like a tram or train. Can pull the car from side to side if you are not holding the wheel.

I purchased Pirelli PZero because they were on sale for 200 dollars. ill buy super sports when I have to replace all 4
