I love car audio and have for the last 40 years, but the new cars have kept me out of it because I like doing it all myself and it is tough with the newer cars. For my current project, 2015 GT Vert, I am just going to add aftermarket subs in the trunk and replace the factory sub since I already have an AMP. But I will do this with a LOC out of the rear speakers to keep it simple. I upgraded the head unit with a Linkswell unit and the rest of the system sounds great. Volume and clarity is unbelievable in how much better it made it. At some point, I may change out the rest of the speakers for better ones to see if it makes much of a difference, but that is a project for a later date.
