20 mustang gt running a flex fuel tune. right now I have 75% E85 and maybe 25% 93. not that I think it would make a difference but its like 95F here and humid. today moderately accelerating from 2nd to 3rd gear, the car lurched like all power was cut and I got the wrench icon. made it home in limp mode and pulled the two codes listed in the subject. they both relate to torque. was able to clear them and went back out and so far its driving normally. anyone know if this is serious?

Talk to your tuner. Could be something simple in the tune or some torque calcs are way off.

still waiting for reply to my support ticket i did notice last night i can make it happen by applying 50% throttle in 2nd gear up to 4500 rpm then it lurches and goes into wrench mode. interesting i was checking out my maf sensor and saw that i forgot to push in the locking clip when i replaced my cai. i hope that is what is causing it.

When I search that code it comes up as a memory failure code.

From Google

" Code P0601 means that the PCM's Memory check sum test is failing."

More from Google.

"

How do I fix the code P0601 on my car?
The most common fix for this error code is replacing or reprograming the PCM. In some few cases, dealers may reflash the PCM and get it working. But most often than not, the code means the PCM must be replaced and reprogrammed. This is why it's important that you take your vehicle to its dealership for this problem.

I'd reflash the the tune.

thanks for that i did reflash the tune and it happened again when moderately accelerating. i havent yet tested it with the maf sensor cable locked in i will do that today if it happens again i will burn off the e85 flash back to stock and take it to the dealer.
