Still has a long warranty period....buy it. I would do the carfax, even though I think you cant fully trust carfax, but at least it may show something.

Offer them 40K or even 38K, or do they not wheel and deal in Canada? Worth a chance
I doubt bashing it for 1000 miles hurt it. It is great engine.

You could also wait if you are not comfortable, as the 17's will be coming out soon, so the 16's will be cheaper between June and August. They will want the 16's gone

They really know how to bend you over the desk in Canada Eh? A Base GT with PP can be had for around 32k in the states which is about 42k Canadian so offer them 42k.

its a bit strange really
Canada seems so much higher then the US, but for importing a car to the UK it saved me around 9thousand dollars

I would not spend $44k on a used Mustang unless it was built in the 60's.
