Experiences with this company?
I have hit a few snags with them but they seem so well regarded that I'm wondering if I'm the anomaly.
I purchased their return style fuel system based in a brief conversation I had with one of their tech support guys. Told him my plans (paxton Novi, E85, size of pulley, etc) He actually talked me out of another fuel kit in favor of their house brand kit.
And I have to say..... I'm quite underwhelmed.
Their instructions are poor, and in fact are wrong in at least one instance.
Missing parts. Missing the "special" supplied wrench.
And the hardware they supply is lacking and not at all well thought out. A few small changes would have saved me quite a bit of time and extra purchases. It really seems like a "universal" kit. Which is fine I guess, except that isn't how it was presented and a person could certainly source this stuff on their own at that point.
They couldn't even figure out which fittings I needed to run their fuel rails with this fuel kit. That shocked me. Doubly so since I was told I wouldn't need fuel rails when purchasing the kit. I ordered what Lethal put into my cart and thought I was all set until several days later when I talked to my tuner. He was baffled that they didn't sell me rails with the kit. So, I then bought those and waited some more.
When I emailed them about some possible missing parts, the person responding to me came off very accusatory as if I'm either an idiot, hustling them for $10 worth of parts, or somehow lost the parts. Wasn't appreciated at all. Lol. And I remained very polite the entire time.
They couldn't even bother to respond at one point. So I had to call and hound them to get what I needed. Which ended up being new instructions....because they didn't even have the correct instructions on their website.
Seriously, I'm over here scratching my head. I've heard such good things and they aren't exactly giving these kits away.
I didn't expect to have to fabri-cobble this much together when buying a platform specific kit at this cost.
