Thoughts on Gibson Exhaust

Yeah I plan to do that if I get the Roush, just didn't know how well it'll stick to chrome tips without doing some prep work, plus what it would do to the warranty of the system.

I would doubt throwing some paint on exhaust tips would void the system in any way. Cutting off hangers and modifying the structure/piping would definitely do it. You could always rough up the chrome a little bit with some scotch brite.

I have 2 Borla XR1s with 3" inlets sittin here in the garage I may try out with the Gibson x pipe. Its a bit rough driving at 60mph between 5th and 6th gear cause of the drone. 5th is 2500rpms and 6th is 1500rpms. Dont know if it will help but its worth a try.
