What!! I'm so confused, I thought if you swap out your stock exhaust for a cat back you wouldn't really see any gains. Maybe 5hp at the wheels. Gibson exhaust gained 19hp.

No one else has proved this to be true...For any catback.

I will say this. The rear-end of this car with wide tires is OMG beautiful.

Actually there have been multiple dyno tests that show large gains on the 15's - dyno sheets have been posted, but it's simple - no one wants to believe them.

Some by the manufacturers, others by independents that back the manufacturer's claims.

After seeing the stock resonator come off and seeing whats inside it, I believe 20rwhp is easily possible with nothing but a full cat-back.

Yeah guys, this my car. I've posted about it before on here with graphs. The graph is at the end of the video as well.

They did NO tune, the car had 500 miles on it at the time. Sea level and about 55 degrees outside if I recall.

It is important to note that the first couple runs only showed about a 3hp gain. It takes a bit for the ECU to adapt. After a few runs they consistently got the number you see about 5 times in a row.

huh?

I have seem dyno graphs for SW, Gibson and Magnaflow and the highest HP gains were on the MF and Gibson. The RWHP gains were 3-5. They even did multiple pulls, not just 2. I think most of the pulls were 4 to be exact.

Terry Reeves, AKA Beefcake on the forum here and another guy (forgot his screename) both did before and after dyno's within 2hrs of removing the factory CB and installing the SW and MF. They saw 1.6 and 3.X RWHP improvements after multiple dyno runs.

Guess we will agree to disagree. Unless there is more proof on the Gibson. There are other owners here with the Gibson that have not seen those gains. Guess that it is why I am having a hard time believing it. If I am wrong, great :D. More power to Gibson and their system.

I think we would all like to believe that we could get large gains with just a cat back.

I'd also like to believe that I have a shot at a certain unnamed blonde actress, but that is not important now.

(Ok, it is Penny on the Big Bang Theory, she just does it for me)
