Some seriously rough driving. I'm tired just watching.

is it faster if one drives smoothly?
Absolutely, you're scrubbing speed on and off power. Driving it in too deep and getting on it to aggressively coming out of the corner. You're going to make up time coming in at a good rate and getting out of the corner faster vice in fast and out slow. You left seconds on the track.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean, can you show me a video of you doing that please?

Ingot2015, an alignment would help for sure. Right now the only way to make the rear rotate is to trail brake heavily. But hey it is stock so it makes sense it has some understeer dialed in.

Careful. He is a professional driver. He is only allowed to criticize and critique others.

I said I would do better and posted a video of how to do better, with inferior tires. madweazl probably doesn't even have a drivers license, so let's not expect anything from him other than him just talking out of his behind.

You have track pads and a fluid change. The other person did not. Hmmmmm....the other person was not talking down to other drivers either unlike....I'll let you take 1 guess........You.

No doubt you can drive, kudos to you. Try being a bit more humble? Might get your further in life.

You and this "other person" have been rude and personally attacking me. This is a Forum so I have no issues stooping down to yours/his level. Both of you, specially you follow me around and try to go against me where ever I post, why don't you take the advice someone gave in the oil thread and show some class?

I'm not sure you understand what track pads are for. They aren't to make the car stop faster...

Anyways I've only called two people out on this forum for their driving, one guy made fun of someone for being passed by a miata, and HE had been passed by miatas in his videos. The other one was your soul mate, he basically said I didn't know what I was talking about.

Treat others like you want to be treated... :)

Nice lap. I think your hands are a little busy but it's more a product of the car than your driving style from what I can see.

Thompson is a shitty track so I probably won't be bringing my mustang there any time soon. I was very disappointed the first time I visited as it would be nice to have another nice track close to NYC. Palmer motorsports park looks promising.

This other guy posted a video of some slow laps and I said I could do better after he insulted me. I went to the track and delivered. The pzeros were corded so I...I mean my friend got new tires before going. He wanted to run in a certain class so he got treadwear 300 tires which would work out for the class and would be worse than pzeros, that way when he beat the other guys time, tires wouldn't be an excuse.

My friends car is premium trim so it's also heavier. Worse tires and heavier. He must have been slower due to the stock pads.

Very busy hands and I was kicking myself for that until I watched my other videos where I drive cars that actually grip. Smooth as butter on those. I'ts definitely something I have to work on though, basically I developed that habit after driving so many cars with power and no grip...or no power nor grip...

I'm always expecting the rear to come out and my hands show that. I'm not sure how much it hurt me in terms of times but it's ugly and not beneficial to anything, so I will keep it in mind next time I'm at the track. Hopefully by then I will have more grip though.

Haven't been to Palmer but it looks amazing.

Was this at the COMSCC this weekend? I didn't see a black 15 there.

And 1:23 on all season tires stock car? That's amazing considering other cars are built and on slicks and barely get into the 1:20s.
