Wait....where is the official time slip or lap timer for this record lap? Need proof before you proclaim a record, sorry.

So narrower tires reduced the drag and you ran a faster lap time because of that? And on A/S tires, too? Ummmmmm....I am no racer but...wonder why F1/NASCAR, etc. don't run narrower tires?

I don't understand the logic? Why are all the HPDE/ AX guys running 295's upfront?

That's just my theory, you are welcome to come up with one of your own. Compared to the wider rear tire, that time was faster, so it's just my guess.

In terms of proof, it's right under your nose. Just stop the video at the SF line, record the time, then stop it again at the next time the car is at the SF.

edit: time was faster compared to the other times posted here. This was the driver's first time at the track and those tires is all he ran.

I am over 1000 miles from you. I just sit back and ask questions. You should realize when you claim RECORD on a public forum, people are going to ask for proof. Something official and not the assumption of starting and stopping a video of approximates.

I like your edit. Maybe today they won't list what you're looking for. The record isn't for the classes made up by the club, it's for 2015 mustangs.

Also my mistake, you're right the tires are summer tires.
