Current car 2015 gt convo 5.0 auto. 355 gears
Mods to date:
GT350 intake and throttle body, JLT cold intake, stainless work long tube headers, ford racing mufflers. Custom tune with a 435 hp dyno run two years ago.
Thinking of up my power and considering install Vodoo racing 5.2 heads. My local shop did a similar setup and ended up close to 500 hp and good street drive ability.

I use my car for dates, short and long trips in non winter conditions. Never on the drag strip but I do like to go fast!
I will have close to $5000 for heads, stands, gaskets, and new tune for hopefully 60-65 hp.
I could bo a supercharger for about the same cash and gain another 75 hp over the heads but I just don't know if a SC is how I want to go.

Does anyone have any experience with the 5.2 heads and how did it work out?

You can make a little over 500whp with Cobra Jet Manifold and Comp Cams Stage 3 Na cams.

@Evil 5.0 did that combo.

After getting the CJ mani and AEDtune on my car all I can say is that intake is worth the money IMO.

On the GT350 manifold and 5.2 heads Im sure youd make over 500whp too.

Personally Id love to do the 5.2 heads and L&M Engines cams.

Spend a little more and go with a centrifugal blower. I have the same mods as you, and I wish I would have just supercharged the car from the beginning.

From what I've read, the car will drive stock around town but will feel like a monster under boost. Win/win in my book!

I did the NA setup and loved it, but left me wanting more. So if your going to spend the money, go the supercharger route the first time and save money in the long run.

I really thinking the supercharger me be the best value.
Heads, cams, and install will $7000 for 500 -515 hp.
Easy 575 on the wheels with FI.
Any one have experience with adaptive cruise and a SC, could be scary!

I love the idea of a single turbo 600whp setup for the street. It shouldn't be stressing anything too much, and it's easier on the motor than a 5.2 heads n/a coyote 550 whp build. A turbo is a great trade off for power vs longevity. All out high RPM N/A is probably the worst option for reliability, followed by s/c. Oh yeah and the MT82 has some sort of chance at that power level. IMO this is where the hellion kits shine, but they can be pricy. You'll need a new clutch for any of these though.
