Hi,

Need of some help quick, I purchased wheels from MRR and the mounting holes seem very thin/narrow. I want to get the wheels installed this weekend so which type of lug nuts do I need to purchase? I am assuming spline nuts? Does anyone have any suggestions on ones that I can pick up from Amazon or B&M auto store?

Thanks in advanced

Just some good acorn gorilla nuts. No need to go spline. Lemme see if I can dig up the part numbers...

I am using the Gorilla Automotive 26643SD 14mm x 1.50 Thread Size Chrome Finish Small Diameter Duplex Wheel Lock System. if 2" is alright with you, My shelby wheels made the 1.5" mcgard tuner nuts disappear, I could not even hand turn them. the gorilla system has every nut a lock, and it comes with a thin wall socket key. mcgard version was short socket and more likely to damage or nick the openings.

I ordered ford racing lug nuts from american muscle. Overnight shipping was only $12 and they fit the wheels perfectly given the opening size for the lugs and such. That's if you dont mind having open tops or by chance are running extended wheel studs like myself from ARP. It's well worth the $60 for quality lug nuts and try to stay away from splined unless you are just super cautious about theft in your area.
