Yeah man, think I had it 2-3 weeks when this happened. Just left from taking a bunch of photos of the car then bam. I was livid.

I am really sorry to see that happen...had a similar experience years ago in Monterey California. Literally drove my brand new Dodge Conquest off the dealer lot and got nailed by a fleeing felon in a stolen car...totaled the Conquest! :rant:Is it all repairable? take it to Richard and Aaron over at Gas Monkey!!!

Not wrecked, but definitely disappointing... Rear-ended at stoplight on my way back from dealer.

Yeah, it's repairable. Insurance is handling everything. I took it back to the dealership and their body shop. With the car being so new, I didn't want to take it to just anyone and have issues later on from it. I know the dealership isn't perfect but I trust them more than I trust 'Jimmy-Bobs quick fix body shop'

The rental thing is no joke and I noticed several of the first cars in this thread are in Wichita. Was just there last week and it seems like budget has a plethora of American muscle. I was put into a challenger RT and my coworker (who got in an hour before me) got a TY '15 mustang GT. Needless to say, it was a fun day before we headed back to the airport...could see how easy it would be to wreck for someone not prepared for the power these cars have.

edit: the story goes the driver ran into a car wash fatally killing a person and then fled the scene. Police are now looking for the driver.

FULTON COUNTY, Ga. —

Police have identified the victim in a fatal hit-and-run at a Sandy Springs car wash Saturday.

Sandy Springs police identified the victim as 41-year-old Malcolm C. Callender Jr., of Jonesboro.

They say the driver who left the scene was identified as Wilfredo Santo-Serrano. Police say they arrested Serrano Sunday morning at an apartment complex close to the location of the crash.

We first told you about the fatal accident on Channel 2 Action News Saturday.

Sandy Springs police said a person, now identified as Serrano, lost control of his black Ford Mustang and slammed into Mikael’s Car Wash, located at 6390 Roswell Road, Saturday afternoon.

A person who was inside the building at the time, Callender, was struck by the car. He was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital where he later died, according to police.

Serrano has been charged with felony hit-and-run and first degree vehicular homicide, police said.
