I'm wondering what the ambient air temp was during the test drive. I find the summer tires very sticky when it's above 50 outside and easily controllable under power. Wouldn't be the case if it were cold. Dealers shouldn't be giving test drives in these cars if the temperature isn't reasonable for the tires.

That black one looks like the rear end got loose and bounced off a telephone pole or barrier in a turn, overcorrected and smashed the other side.

Interesting. Out where I am, a lot of dealers will do a credit check or require x amount of money down before test driving to prevent kids from putting tons of miles and/or wrecking cars they don't intend to/can't buy.

Edit: usually just on the performance/sports cars.

A lot of the time they make a copy of the DL and occasionally will ping credit at that point.

Expecting money down before a test drive is stupidity.

Totally, I didn't think that part was in question enough to even bring it up
When I was 16 I learned to drive on a 1977 Toyota Corolla which had, I think, 40 hp. That's enough for a 16 year old.

When I was 16 I learned to drive in a 73 Mustang Mach-1. While not a 435 hp car for it's day it was a fast car. The difference is I was taught to Respect the Vehicle, I was taught to not think I was Invincible. Something most 16 year olds today don't know. I wasn't raised on Video Games that made me think I was a Bad Ass and if I Crash I just Re-Spawn. Unfortunately a lot of Teenagers today do not know what Consequences are until they get out in the real world and Shit like This gives them their First Real Slap of Reality.
