These were designed from the start for cosmetic purposes, not DRL.

However, stay tuned for a new version soon from us, that will be quite an improvement in brightness (5x brighter). Switchback only as well with built-in dimming function for DRL/parking light.
Has this been done now?

Do we have a side indicator on the car? Is there an indicator on the wing mirror?

We just received the bare PCBs and will be assembling and testing them over the next week. Stay tuned!
So would I be correct to assume that guys here who have already ordered tri bar led kits from you guys will have dim ones that are not suited for being a DRL, and you are now working on brighter ones with the ability to dim them to use as parking lights also?

I have taken a feed from the drivers side DRL, I use this to trigger a relay rather than directly power the LED's and Controller, so I have run a new fused spur from the main engine bay fuse box for the power and taken the earth from the block of connections on the chassis leg
Was there any particular reason why you used the existing DRL feed to run a relay to power the LEDs instead of connecting them directly to the existing DRL feed? I would have imagined that the draw from the LEDs would be less than the standard DRL globe or did you leave them connected as well?

The kits that we have offered for sale come with full multicolor functionality, which is the main purpose of the multicolor kit.

While we cannot cover shipping costs to get the product back to the US, we'll be happy to exchange at no extra charge with anyone who would like to swap for the switchback version.

Thanks!

No problem, not pointing fingers at all, I doubt anyone here thought about this before, we just wanted what we saw on the US spec cars without thinking about it. I have not ordered mine yet, but only want them as DRLs so don't need the colour function.

Any idea when the new brighter version with the dimming will be available?

As soon as these are available I will be after a set for sure and I know there are some others locally who are also interested.

Yeah, we are really doing it for you guys! Don't have a whole lot of people asking for it in the U.S.

We should have it available for shipment in about 3 weeks.

Thanks!
