Thanks! Yes actually I had some rubbing issues in the front with 295/35’s when I had 7/8” front drop springs. Changed to GT350 springs from a 2016 non-Magneride car which lower it 3/8” and much better with no rubbing.

There is a guy in the Pittsburgh thread in the Mid Atlantic regional section that is selling a pair of new 305/35 Nittos that you could probably get for $400 plus shipping.

Thanks buddy!

Actually, I can get the Nittos at Discount tires, but have gotten the impression that people don’t like them as much compared to the Michelins.

I believe the proline eibach springs up front lowered the car by an inch. I wonder if by going with a 275 or 285 I might not have a rubbing issue?

Stil not sure of the tire size considering that I have about a one inch drop with the Eibach springs and without changing the springs it sounds like I’ll have a rubbing problem with the 295s. Maybe not 285s though

If you’d kept your J&S springs with more drop would you have considered the 305/30s, or do you prefer the more rubber look? Might still have had the same wheel gap as your current setup though?

Definitely would not have gone with 305/30’s up front because of tramlining, regardless of whether I had kept the J&M’s. Will be getting 285/35’s soon for the fronts. I have a set of front strut height spacers listed in the classifieds if you are interested in raising your front a little (1/4” - 3/8”).

Good point about the tramlining with 30s. I do prefer the more rubber and less wheel space look too.

It sounds like the 305/35 in back with 285/35 up front is a good setup. Similar stagger and tire height as stock.

So it’s a decision to wait until I can get the PSS 305s, go now with Nittos or go now with PS4 295/35 in the rear. Wheels are supposed to be delivered tomorrow.

Thanks for your input. Let me look into spring spacers and understand just what they’ll do.

This will probably be a one-post build thread...

Shortly after I bought my 2018 PP1, Ford announced the PP2. I immediately fell in love with the look of the PP2 and always wished my timing had been better. About a month ago I test drove one with intentions to buy, but couldn't get a deal that made financial sense. And with the mods done to my PP1, there wasn't a noticeable performance difference on the street.

So I changed strategies and began searching for the front splitter, rear spoiler, and wheels to make my car look like a PP2. I didn't want aftermarket parts, and finding used OEM parts is extremely hard. Forget new ones, Ford charges a fortune ($1,200 for the rear spoiler?? Really??). The best deal I could find on trading my 2018 on a 2020 PP2 would have put me about $14K more into debt... the total cost of installing the PP2 wheels, spoiler and splitter came to $686.60 after selling my old wheels and spoiler.

But the search was a success, and here's the result! A HUGE thank you to @50Mustang , @W1cK3dSiK , and @Champracerj , whose cars were organ donors for my patient.

Now don't hate me, real PP2 owners...as they say, imitation is the most sincere form of flattery!

Did you get the splitter installed by Ford? Do you know how much it would cost for just installing the splitter? Car looks great btw!

Thank you! Installed the splitter myself, it was not as straightforward as I had hoped so not sure what Ford might charge for it. Maybe 1-2 hours of labor.

Yeah, that's what I was worried about trying to install it myself. Watching Bill from CJ Pony Parts do the install doesn't always translate to it being that easy in real life lol.
