Can someone please explain the QC process. It looks like my car has been selected randomly for QC. What exactly will they be doing? Will it add to the cars overall mileage?

Probably on the miles as mine was selected too and had 49 miles when I got it!

The QUality assurance department will take cars at random when they come off the line. They then go over the whole car to look for defects. They drive it, go over all systems, then if nothing found wrong they put it back in the rotation.

So then this is a good thing (other than the wait time) since then when we get it we won't have to worry about anything.

50 miles is a lot of driving. Only takes a dozen or so to find out if something is wrong. Definitely something that won't show even after 50...

With my QC and PDI. Mine had 68 mile on my car it was held for a extra 3 week's. Don't be surprised if it's over 50 miles on it. I've seen some as high as 100 miles. You want your car to be perfect. [emoji2]

Compare it to a machine shop checking every so many parts and making a complete dimension check. SPC . As luck would have it I had an early build 94 GT and a VERY early build 96 Cobra pulled and checked. The only downside is the weather conditions this time of year. Make sure you get after it real well after delivery.
