New Photo from the other night. Probably my favorite photo I've taken of this car. I just think everything came together so well in this shot.

Get that put on a metal poster. I think that's the name of it. That would be amazing. The skyline....:eyebulge:

Once I have my photo shoot, I will have my favorite photo made into on for my office or theater room.

I’ve been wanting to get a metal print done. I think this might be the one.

Just got back from Disney. Here are a few pix I took that I think turned out well. Not mustang related, sorry. I have an idea to shoot my car with, but have not had time.

Wow, those are breath taking. The crisp and clear shot of the fireworks are amazing. Not over exposed or anything. Like you were standing right there lol. :hail:

I take ton of pics but I am a total amateur. I love particular angles on this car so that is what I tend to want to shoot.

All of this is with a Canon T1i and most with a 50mm 1.8
Dizzle,

Nice shots! Out of curiosity why do you shoot mostly with your 50mm @ 1.8?

Honestly it is just probably the best lens I have. I just like the way I can manipulate it more i guess and it gets really good, clear shots. I need to work on getting some other lenses but I want to mod my car also :D If I knew where I could get a good lens on the cheap I might look into it more.

Fireworks done right!!

So who all here photographs on Manual mode all the time? That's all I use

Like my car I'm a manual-only guy. I'll leave ISO on auto with a min/max setting as within limits changing ISO has the least dramatic effect on the image, other than how bright it is. I have a basic idea of where I want my shutter and aperture for any given shot then I'll peek at the screen and make adjustments as needed. I've also learned how to read the histogram to better expose my images properly.

Both were with Nikon D750.

1st shot was 50mm 1.4 lens shot at (F2.0 / 1/100 / ISO1600) This was done handheld, so I had to bump up the ISO. Did a 2x focal length calculation (manual) to keep it sharp. Shot raw and did my normal post work in lightroom.

2nd shot was 50mm 1.4 lens shot at (f5.6 / 1 second / ISO 200) This was shot using a trash can as a make shift tripod. Used timed shutter release to avoid camera shake, Shot raw and did my normal post work in lightroom.

Normally, I shoot 70% of my shots in Aperture priority. But night / low light shots I go to full manual because the cameras light meter does not always meter the way I want.

Thanks everyone for the compliments. I hope to get out soon and take some shots of the car. I have some ideas on what I want to do, just have not had time or good weather to go do it.
