Summer is over, when not in my Mustang I am on my bike. Sadly the summer toys are but away for the year. Looking to start a new hobby and a DSLR seams to peak my interest.

I need something with stabilization without question. I will be utilizing it for taking stills and recording vids of friends bands where the room would be dark but the stage full of light. I want something that could be used for fast moving objects at the race track.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!!!!!!!

If you're looking for best of both worlds check out the Sony a7s2 or the a7r2. Not cheap, but if you're looking for great lowlight video and great stills they're the ticket.

I agree. SONY has image stabilization built in to their camera bodies so it works with all lenses. Worth the investment, IMO.

Hey Gonvardi, here are some tips on using this lens properly.

Make sure to always shoot low and always above 135mm. Try to shoot it at F4 or 5.6 to ge the the whole the car. This is seriously one of the best lens to own and when you master it, you'll look like a pro!

Nice shot e2blade, and thanks for the tips. I took this one from a high angle at 2.8 because I was going for a large format camera look and wanted as much of the mountain in the shot. Normally, I shoot from a lower angle.
