6th Generation, as this (the S550 / 2015+ Mustang) is the 6th Generation of Mustang. the MY18 is NOT gen 7 it's gen6.2 or, S550.2 as it's the mid model refresh. Gen 7 comes in 2020/21

Apart from FB, Pistonheads is the other place I hang out, it's like a war zone in General Gassing but the more specialised sub fora are more genteel.
I got an email warning there for calling someone an eejit after he blamed a cyclist for getting hit with a wing mirror and was fine with a woman getting her windscreen smashed because she blocked a cycle path.

I am a member of lots of forums on car related stuff. One thing that does annoy me with this forum is the way people don't reply when you offer advice or assistance.
On a couple of occasions I have offered advice to people asking "what went wrong" and have not had any replies whatsoever.

Other than that it does seem to be a friendly place with some good banter and chat.

Sometimes people just don't reply, but need not, it'll have been read and looked into no doubt ;)!

If you ever want a reply... just, tag me in it I reply to pretty much everything here :lol:

this forum system (vbulletin) has a reputation system which is effectively likes built in but it seems to be disabled on here in favour of the thanks plugin.

I don't always reply....but if someone has offers advice I always click the thanks tab..;)

No forum will ever be perfect, but if this one keeps growing with the same type of membership, I can only see it getting better:thumbsup:

I think a lot of forums that start with a new car tend to be like this. Everyone is an enthusiastic and at the same level of knowledge and is keen to help everyone out, met up and that produces a different dynamic of everyone contributing at some level either excitement, high skills or learning experiences.

I know Manders gets some stick, but it is genuinely interesting to see Steve mod his car and take bigger steps each time, he will have that engine apart in a years time:) Gibbo's attention to detail, deep pockets and thoroughness contributes a good deal and Enoch's skills and contacts are opening up new levels of modding.

I think once they get older and the experience and cliqueness generates that's when you run into the problems.

The precursor to this forum brad set up, let's call it 5g was fab too. Retro rides is really decent and I build and fly model planes and helicopters when not playing with cars and RCgroups and Britmodeller are pretty decent as well.

Overall, I generally think forum culture in the US is a bit more respectful than in the UK.

I like to think all the stick is banter ;)!

Anyway, that Vargas Twin Scroll Stage 2+ turbo (73mm) has my name on it along with a intercooler and tune.... But i need a seriously big bonus from work to pull that off whilst saving for a house lol ;)!
