no use to me and it should work out considerably cheaper for him but back to thread yeah its a nice friendly forum especially after some of the old toxic other car forums i've been on previously.

I have to echo all the other positive comments - it really is a genuine pleasure to be apart of this great forum, very well balanced and well behaved. I find myself laughing out loud in the office sometimes reading the great banter that goes on here. Thank you all and dont ever change!

Perhaps I've only owned cars whereby the Forums have been nice, but this is no better (or worse) than any other. That isn't a bad thing, it's great. The Monaro chaps are brilliant, and back in my 911 days, I found forums such as Rennlist to be very friendly too.

There is a split DeLorean community - two clubs, two forums, etc and I believe there is some bad blood there (I really don't know what, or between whom so I just go about my business) but they're some of the most friendly owners I've ever met.

I did, randomly, bump in to a Mustang owner at FoS last year - I was drooling over the yellow thing with bolt-ons all over it (I forget the tent). I'd yet to get mine but it was obvious we were both fans. We chatted for some time about his car - a real enthusiast (slightly older gentleman, without being rude!).

Yes its a great forum indeed, but its not the only one.

Years ago and I still am a member of MOCGB, great forum, great bunch of people and did several meets on that forum and just like here plenty people willing to help.

The forum I've being a member off longest is OcUK forums, 15 years now and its a huge community, 130k members but it covers all basis, computers, general life, cars, politics etc. They hold several meets many of which I've organised including some 25 dyno days, several track days, Santa Pod days and just general drives out or groups of us going go-karting. They also do Spa, Ring trips and EU/US road trips as well and the community just like here is great, moderation is laxed but is there to protect individuals as is required on a forum of that size.

M3cutters another fantastic community where people are so willing to help others particular with free coding or helping each other fit parts etc.

Lots of great forums out there and this is one of them and plenty of great guys here, Enoch being one of them and here we even have our own tea boy Manders.

Agree with everything folks have said.

This subforum of M6G is certainly the friendliest area (not sure what the more general areas are like) I've a member of - and the knowledge and inventiveness is first rate.
Apart from FB, Pistonheads is the other place I hang out, it's like a war zone in General Gassing but the more specialised sub fora are more genteel.
