In light of the silly little boy that had a couple of nasty digs at our Manders.... I thought I'd make a few comments regarding the UK side of the forum:)

Firstly I'd like to say, over the years I've been a member of a few motoring forums, caravans, motorhomes, dogs motorcycles, watches, bike racing etc. etc

This, is by far the friendliest, easiest going most balanced forum I've ever been a member of:thumbsup::headbang::hail:

Considering the variety within the demographic, young, old, GT, EB, black, white, asian, or from Mars....NON of it matters a jot.... just as it should be.

The Mods here do a great job (over moderation is a pain) but in this forum the mods we have here are absolutely spot on, and I'd like to say well done.:clap2:

Yes, not all of us agree with each other all of the time, and sometimes we may say something we later regret (been there done that) but at the end of the day, all members seem to conduct themselves in a way that makes this forum a positive place to visit...

Long may it continue:amen::thumbsup:

I like this forum too. But I have found the whole Mustang "scene" if you like very VERY bitchy. Probably the worse I have been part of. Some of the comment from people I have heard are pretty disgusting.

But going back to your OP this forum really is brilliant. Some very knowledgeable owners on here including yourself

Bitchy... man stay away from the Mini forums .... if you think mustangs are bad, it makes the moaners and others look like play school

That said... tt is now an obligatory forum moderator. He collects mustangs, tat and moderator badges :)

Really? I dont think I have heard a single thing!

Like Enoch I have been on all sorts of forums. F1, Speedway, Dogs, Motoring and this is 100% better than them all.I love it!

Well said enoch, I agree this is the best forum I've been part of - very active and generally very friendly and helpful with minimal trolls:clap2:

There's your problem; you've actually spoken to people. :D

Come on then, give us the details. I know slowhand99 was told he drives a Jaguar!

Agree 100%, keep up the sound advice and banter guys. I posted that I needed some rears and just over a week later a chap I've never met dropped them at my parents in Surrey and for a fair price. Loads of really helpful stuff on here and look forward to meeting some of you at meets in the future.

Agree with Enoch's comments. The success is largely down to a ban on all politics and no 'thought police' style moderation.

Other forums are blighted by Admins and Mods thinking they ARE the forum. I also think that this forum (UK) benefits from us all being in the same 'boat' at one time or another, regarding wait times, lack of info from Ford etc.

Long may it continue:thumbsup:

This a great forum. My other forums over the last 17 years have been about underground New York house music and videogames. I've had a pretty great time on the ones I've spent time on and think this forum is as good as those.

Have to be honest I have been a member of the MOCOGB for 5 years, but since joining this a year back and also Simply Mustangs on FB, I feel the club which used to be the only outlet for Mustang owners, is being left behind a bit
I think there are a lot of clever people on here and SM, of all ages who could be great assets to the club
Just a word about Steve (Manders) he really does go out of his way to help people, and his love of the Mustang makes him the sort of person the club needs so badly. :headbang:

Please help with my mod

I'm in the US and I want the EU spec deck lid like in the picture. Can someone help me with a Euro spec 2015/2017 Mustang GT vin number so I can order the panel? Or if you can help with a part number. My dealer said the part number in the picture is not a Ford part number. Thanks for any help.

Wrong thread me thinks but I am sure there will be plenty of people happy to work out an exchange. Seem most people don't like our deck lids!!
Start a new thread mate, dont be shy.

If you want, buy that, mail it to a helpful soul on the forum and they may forward it onto you, there's a fair few who'd be willing to trade with you, or sell you theirs, as there's a lot of people with them as 'take-offs'

See:
http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=209

And make a 'want to buy' thread for it :)! Probably be cheaper than FPUK too.
