What did or are you going to do with the takeoff miss color matched set?
Those came off and went to a local GT350 owner. Awaiting to hear they are back on the rod again. If you want a set, just let me know and I will make it an attractive option for you
Those new wheels look great!

Regarding ride height, my regular GT350 scrapes the splitter all the time, so I would not want to go any lower. In fact, that is a big reason why I am not interested enough in an R to make the switch.

I think your car is looking great, but at the same time if you feel it needs to be a bit lower, it is probably worth it to give it a shot. You can always swap back if needed.

I know that even though I don't really want an R, I still wonder what it would be like to have one, so sometimes you just need to throw caution to the wind and go with your gut. Not sure if that helps with your decision.

The R is a great swap if it makes sense money wise, otherwise I say stay where you are. GT350 in a capable drivers hands will be faster than my unskilled ones in the R. Evidenced by your last track outing.

I think I can stave off my desire to lower it a little longer. Would like to go for a ride in a car with BMR springs as the FP ones might be too soft. Good input though, as I teeter back and forth daily.
Lower it!!!
Always the devil on my shoulder lol
I’ve got a good idea for you to lower it...
Don't you even go there! How much longer you going to make us wait?

Here is a raw photo of the R coming off the hill at Buttonwillow and under some compression. As bad ass as it looks, I don't know if I would survive long on the street. Although I suspect it would be a little higher

What tire/wheel setup are u using above?... causes the sidewall on the tears appears to stick out a little.

R low isn’t too low. I thought it was but I’m able to get around without scraping. Just a couple of times.

It’s the 19” SV108 in the OEM R spec. The added poke is from the 325 rear.

Agreed. I’ve driven lower cars, but much less expensive also lol

Been a little while since I was able to update some information about the car. Sold my current SV701 setup as I plan to switch over to a 2 piece 20" wheel very soon. In any case, here are some photos I just edited from the last track day at Buttonwillow. Taken by the mad man Robert Gluckman.

So hard not to love this car....

Always Nice to see a car being used. For what it was built for.

New wheels are finally done. Signature Wheel SV306S in a 20” GT350R spec. Waiting on tires and have to get these ceramic coated when they arrive. Then it’s game time!

The new SV306S are here. Along with the new Signature Wheel GT350R Spec center cap I had designed. Let me know what you think about the wheels and the new center caps. These have both new style options shown, and will be available for customers ordering R spec wheels in the future.

Hoping to have these installed by the end of the day today.

Well it's good to see that my center cap idea made it to someone's car. You happen to make a second set for my car (like we discussed originally)?

Nothing yet. These are the first prototypes put together. Development took some time, and up next is figuring out costs to run them in a larger quantity. I will email all previous customers to gauge interest once we know what the final dollar amount will be. I think you are going to like them A LOT

Rome for sure was not built in a day. Been a long process finding killer looks for the car, testing out designs for customers, and finding ways to be involved in the Mustang community. I am developing more custom pieces for the car to use at shows, or events I attend and display wheels at.

Tried out these new wheel/tire displays with my winter Signature Wheel Precision Series SV702. During that process I snapped a few photos of the wheels and really have come to appreciate the intricacy of the design. The details built into the structure of the wheel add a level of depth I do not usually come across in wheels for our platform. Being able to see the marks left behind by the CNC machine just blows my mind. Makes you want to get up on them close and study ever inch a little further.
