Most dealers also have a flatbed to do courtesy delivery. I had a place in TX that was willing to flat bed it right to my home for free and it was 1000 miles to my home.

Id ask the dealer your buying from if they would personally deliver it to you.

I chose to have it delivered at a dealer so if any issues came up they were all there to see it and it would be fixed on the dealers dime.

Ultimately yes, thats the best route, thats why dropshipping to another dealer is the way to go. They do the pdi and let you do scan if all is good.
One can also fly in to look over the car before its shipped.

Wow, we've hit 100 pages in this ADM sticky. That's both amazing and revolting to me...

Hennessy in ATL on Peachtree Industrial has a tech pkg deep impact blue w/ white stripe. Been sitting on showroom floor for 6wks at $5k over. I think they will take MSRP in a heartbeat.

You may be right. However, when I spoke with Bommarito, and Sinclair as recently as a month ago, they were not budging. Bommarito was charging $7,500 over, and I can't remember how much Sinclair wanted but it wasn't msrp. Then, there's Auffenberg in Belleville IL that has a RR tech sitting there since around January or March and still wanting 67k.
Longer they sit on the lot, the more willing the will be to sell for MSRP! I can tell you they already dropped their price from their 7,500/10,000 ask for to almost near MSRP not long ago. With the 2017's now and surplus, they got to unload them!

Good luck!

Think of it this way... Even at $5k over MSRP, a 2016 GT350 with Track Pack (or a 2017 base GT350) is still more than $3k less than an apples-to-apples 1LT Z51 Corvette Manual with Magnetic Selective Ride Control and Competition Seats. (I'm picky about seats.) And I can't take both of my kids to summer cruise-ins in the Corvette like I can in the Shelby. Oh, and I won't see six other GT350's at that cruise-in either, like I would with a Corvette. :)
Back in April Jim Ellis Chevy was discounting every corvette on their lot $8000 off. No qualifications + GM card credit. They had 35 . So the car you are talking about would be less then that GT350. You could take that same Vette and wholesale it for more then you paid for it. I know because I might trade it for a 350 @ MSRP. Today.
Back in January I did not take a 350 @ MSRP because of the Recaro seats and paint work problems. Waited for another chance.
If you find a low vin# it's probably purchased from another dealer and that current dealer will lose money @ MSRP. That's because he paid over MSRP for the car. Just look @ the window sticker and see the dealer it was delivered to. You have to see it in person to determine.

Update 6/15. Sold Vette for $54777 paid $52120 traded for 350 @ MSRP $58250 with doc fees. Paid tax on difference. NOBODY in Atlanta and 200 mile outside are selling @ MSRP. After 14 months finally a 350 in the garage. Kbb helped on the trade and the dealer was in the program.

Were any of them 1LT Z51's with no options other than a manual transmission, Magnetic Selective Ride Control, and Competition Seats?

Didn't think so.

I have a GT350 tech pack that I'm seriously considering selling if anyone might be interested... I hate to get rid of it but I've gotta prioritize some things. I just had the oil changed and the car is right at 2k miles. Most of the miles are from a road trip for my brother's wedding. It's magnetic with white OTT stripes. I'm thinking around $57k. I'm not sure if this is the proper place for this so forgive me if it's not.

Great Advice !!! :clap2:
A courtesy delivery form the ordering dealership to a dealership near you has to be set up at the time the order is placed. If the order gets scheduled for a build and the courtesy delivery was not set up you are SOL.

Here is what you do:

Call local ford dealers by you and ask to speak with the person in charge of courtesy delivery. (Some dealerships don't offer courtesy delivery.)

Ask what the fee is, typically $300-$400 in my experience and you can save a bit by shopping around and comparing your local dealerships fees. Make sure they know that they will have to install the front splitter as part of the delivery. In my case this raised the price by $80 so $ 380 total.

Give the dealer you ordered from the contact info of the human in charge of courtesy delivery at the dealership you have selected for delivery. The sales managers of the two dealerships or the two GM's (in my case) generally have to talk speak to each other and agree to do a courtesy delivery.

Once the two dealerships agree, your salesman can change the destination of your car with ford to the local dealer you selected.

Again it is of paramount importance that this be done when the car is initially ordered. It seems that once a car is scheduled ford is very reluctant to change the shipping details.

Good luck

Mine was a 1LT 7 speed with NPP exhaust you can see it wasn't loaded. It's on a used car lot now because I bought a 350 @ MSRP. I had a 13 boss and the 350 is a boss @ 125%. Best way I can explain it.
