Some simple yet easy mods that set the car off installed today in little time.

First I installed the http://www.redlinetuning.com hood struts. One of the best in the business and you can't beat the warranty. I was able to install them in about 15 minutes using the provided video [ame=""] Not only do they look 100 times better then the giant rod Ford provides you. They function flawlessly and open up the engine bay for easy work on the engine.

Lastly I picked up some new film and since Im running the redline interior with red LEDs. I changed my puddle pony from white to red. Super easy mod thats cheap and unique.

Work has been busy so I haven't had as much time to work on the car. But this week I was able to take on a very lengthy install. First shout out to http://www.diodedynamics.com for making such a great product. But for anyone not automotively inclined or comfortable with wiring. I would not take on the task of installing the mulit-color DRL boards. As for installation the hardest part is opening up the headlights. I heated mine at 235 degrees for 30 minutes and slowly worked them open with wide flat head screwdrivers. I also used the following video.

Lastly I didn't like the OEM chrome and amber signal so I painted them to match the semi-gloss black housing. After a lengthy 10 hour day I am satisfied with the results. Here are some pics of the install and what was all used. If anyone has questions just ask.

Badass build. This is the route I would've went had I not decided to go for a full NA build.

Great looking build so far man! What darkness in tint did you end up going with? I keep going back and forth if I want to do this and how dark I need to go.

Thanks to http://www.makperformance.com for their quality satin black emblems. They have some of the best customer service around and prices to match. Install was a breeze and with such high quality pieces its hard to mess up. One thing I especially liked was with their emblems have the notches to go back in the OEM spots. One small hiccup I ran into was the notices from the OEM emblems staying in but with a small drill and measured depth it took seconds to get out. Also you can save a lot of time by just taping the outline of the OEM emblem before removing. But with these they have the notches so this step is not even needed but a piece of mind.

Thanks, as for the tint I went with the following.
Charcoal - Tail lights, Sidemarkers, Lower reflectors, and 3rd brake light
Gunsmoke - Headlights, Foglights, Front turn signals, and Reverse light

So today ended up good. I was finally able to drop off the car for the much awaited http://www.hellionpowersystems.com. While dropping off the car I also received an email showing my new engine covers had been dropped off from http://www.tascaparts.com. Believe me when I say just cough up the couple bucks and not try to cheap out with paint. The finish is amazing and they will really make the engine compartment come together with my turbo blankets :headbang:

While still excited I am a little disappointed in the shipping company taking 3 weeks to get my http://www.uprproducts.com catch can for my setup.

But lastly I am excited again as next week I will be sitting pretty and squatted on https://www.airliftperformance.com suspension. I have to throw out a special thanks to a major supporter of the auto industry and top wheel manufacture http://velgenwheels.com . Christmas is coming together nicely.

Actual pics of Airlift and Hellion kit to follow.

Well I know its been a real long time since I have posted an update. But with work and buying a house I have had little time to post new pics and whats been going on with my build. The Airlift suspension went on easily with only one day of downtime but the turbo kit has been a whole other story. With little time to work on it little progress was made thru ought the last couple months. But now with the good weather finally hitting WA. We finished up everything but the tuning today. The only other issue we ran into was with the downpipes running a little lower then the frame of the car. I will have to make frame stops so when the car is dropped to the ground it will not rest on the downpipes or just bend/brake them.
