Any vacuum, air intake, or exhaust leaks?

Did u have to use 02 ext for ur headers,if so i would check them out real good.Any vacuum, air intake, or exhaust leaks?
It sounds like the same thing I (and others) experienced early on after adding headers. Do you also experience 'flat spots' around 3-4k when under light throttle in 4th and 5th?. If so, it may be the same issue with torque management that led me to switch from SCT to the Hyperbox from Lund. That said, I haven't broken 12.3 yet myself, but I'm not on dr's either.Well I got there before Sam got there so I made a few passes on Bamas new tune ..No good , best was 12.25 @ 111 ... Sam got there and loaded his tune and no help .. Two more runs and the best of 12.50 @ 109 .. This is the same tune Sam ran 11.40s on ... So it's not in the tune ...Not much left to do other than get it over to Sam and put it on the dyno and see what it's doing or not doing .. I'm worn out and sick over this hole problem ..Hard to believe a set of headers would cause this much of a problem ..
No leaks of any type.Any vacuum, air intake, or exhaust leaks?
Had to use them for the front 02s .. They are plugged in a working ..Did u have to use 02 ext for ur headers,if so i would check them out real good.
No flat spots ... Well not really true , the hole power band is flat ... :( Sams tune did not use the SCT ..It sounds like the same thing I (and others) experienced early on after adding headers. Yes the front 02s are what controls ur air/fuel,ive seen guys have problems with them before and the only real way to check is with a scan tool or a data log,but it looks like ur going that route next.I really dont think the cats could be clogged that fast.Had to use them for the front 02s .. They are plugged in a working ..
I had the hole exhaust off today to reinstall my factory mufflers ..I had Roush axle backs so I had to cut the pipe to install them .. So I pulled the full system to make it easier to weld back on the stock mufflers .. The Cats are fine , no blockage .. Sam said he had seen them do that with in a few miles of driving ( cheap Cats from China ) . He said it would be a good idea to check them .. At least we can rule that out ...man I better not have this problem when I get my ARH full exhaust in October. im going to hold off on my headers until its not 150 degrees here in florida.
No logging .. This just happened Weds at the track ... Thursday I when to the track again with the tune Bama tune to give it a try .. Sam was meeting me there with his Map to load into car .. Next week it going on Sams dyno , so we should be able to locate the problem ..Did you log any passes? If so is it knocking? Maybe false knock and its pulling a ton of timing? Bad gas and pulling timing?
After the install are the headers/mid pipe hitting the frame or steering shaft anywhere? That can cause false knock.
Weird problem...checking the cats is a good thing to do also.
