test drove an ecoboost--when to order?

So after having a wonderful first impression and drive of the ecoboost me and my salesman began to discuss when the best time to order would be. He told me he would honor any rebates "available" during time of order. I was wondering if I could expect a 500-1000 dollar rebate at the end of the year/start of new year. Because that coupled with x-plan would be a huge incentive for making a purchase (for me).

I would be surprised if there were any dealer incentives before the release of the 2016 MY. This is pure speculation, however.

I mean general Ford incentives--he did say there would be 500 or 750 for black friday--couldn't remember for sure.

Yeah, sorry. There is indeed a $500 Amazon gift card if you take delivery before 12/01 I think. Some people have said you can also take the $500 applied to the vehicle price, but I'm not sure on that.

Hmm--we'll I want a end of February/early March delivery so I think I would hold out for New Years incentives--if I can get an extra 500-1000 off the car then I would be happy.

Just emailed my salesman (since they promised me any rebates available now on a car ordered no matter what date I receive it). If he can get me to 500+1000 amazon card plus x-plan I'm gonna order now.

I don't think this is accurate. The Ford Black Friday deal is the up to $1000 Amazon gift card (which is $500 on the 2015 Mustang, not $1000), and you have the option of applying the $500 gift card as cash.
