Install went well. I previously had a Lethal Performance bottle neck eliminator h-pipe, so I had to go to the store to get some additional 2 1/4 exhaust clamps. Besides that it fit up well with the stock exhaust. It sounds great! At little to no throttle it is quiet for going through the...
The system sounds good, I was wondering when we would hear just the cat back system. I almost got AFE system, but decided to go with the Solo Mach XV system instead. I will probably get their LT headers though.
If you send a message to COYOTEV8 he may send you a video of the Solo Performace Mach system that they are about to release. It has a nice deep tone with J pipes to tune out any drone.
Well I pulled the trigger earlier this week and the system should be on its way. Hopefully it will be here by this weekend so I can get it installed. Thanks COYOTEV8 for the video sound clips. I'm excited for it to get here.
I have seen/heard the unedited video. It sounds nice and deep. Though on the unedited video it is difficult to determine the volume level. I believe that it is just a high quality microphone as you can hear a lot of road noise and can hear the car from a loong way off.
The center resonator/muffler is similar to the stock suitcase design, except it seems that it is 3 inches all the way through. I would also be interested in how the system sounds.
I would like to hear the cat back by itself without the headers. I am torn between the aFe cat back and the Ford racing Boss 302 side exhaust with QTP cutout valves. I may end up combining the two for a relatively quiet system for cruising and insane loud system when I want it. Well at least...
After reading the instructions my guess would be that it would work for the v6. I might give it a shot for the Gt. It is expensive, but so is everything for this car at this point in time.
Reading the instructions the upper grill is completely replaced. The "overlays" they mentioned are for the lower grill. The lower grill isn't replaced and kinda bolts to the stock lower grill.
I have the Lethal Performance H-pipe resonator delete, and what he said is spot on. Why spend $1000+ on a cat back system when the resonator deletes do it for about $300? It may not be as loud as other systems, but for me it is perfect.
Just this weekend I installed the Lethal Performance resonator delete. I couldn't justify spending up to $1500 for something that was only for the sound and I didn't want something that was obnoxiously loud or that would drone. I don't think you can beat it for the price, it adds volume and...
That is a lot of overdrive gears! I expected it to be a close ratio Trans with an extra OD gear, but it is more like a 5 speed with 2 extra OD gears. Personally I would want gear ratios like the close ratios our MT-82 + an extra OD.
