Just can't get enuff!
If my car arrives before Sebring, I'm thinking of driving it there... well if it ever gets shipped that is since all the 15's are still at FRAP. :D

Hi Scott, I'll look out for you. We can compare impressions of the car. And for those of you on this forum who are interested in tracking your Mustangs, Chin Motorsports offers DE track days at a bunch of tracks around the country. I've been participating with their events for several years, and can highly recommend them.
I've done NASA and Track Guys but still not Chin. Maybe I'll do an event this year. I've only been to Sebring, my home track (2 hours away) :)

Probably the thing I'm most curious about is heat soak and if the AITs result in power loss. I have an Audi RS4 right now. It spins to 8k and when it's cool out, it's very peppy. When it gets hot out, it feels like someone stole 100hp.

Wow really? The B7 RS4 is naturally aspirated so I wouldn't expect that. Do you know why? Lack of robust cooling? That's still a very nice car! I hope the GT350 doesn't experience the loss of power on the track due to heat soak, lap after lap.

The engine bay gets pretty hot on the RS4. I think it's inherent to high compression engines. If the air intake charge temp is hot, they pull timing for safety. Understandable but I must admit, it's extra annoying. In the evening, it runs great but during the day...it's still quick but definitely feels neutered.

I'm guessing it will be much better with the gt350 considering the lengths Ford went through to isolate the intake and Incoming air from the rest of the engine compartment

You are welcome to stay at my place. I live in downtown Orlando. Save you a hotel bill and only 2 hour drive down to Sebring Tuesday morning.
Thanks for the offer Mark! Chateau Elan is like my second home (so they give me a killer rate), and plan on getting down there Monday to do some spectating/photography of the event

We'd be glad to have you!

Same here; I used to live in Lakeland before moving to the Atlanta area - probably have about 75-80 days at Sebring in the past 4 years.

this GT350 is far more unique than any GT500 made to date
This.

The GT350 has soooo many bespoke, unique parts going into it versus most any late GT500, especially the earlier ones.....
