Dude, I'm already brought around! Independent rear suspension, FPC 8250rpm engine that revs to the moon and sounds like honey.. The S550 is way more like the type of car I love than prior Mustangs.LOL, I just read through that thread. I thought about putting in my two cents, but decided to refrain from doing so. That one guy is never going to admit a Mustang, even a pony car built for track performance, is capable of putting a hurting on cars twice it's MSRP at that venue. We'll bring you around Seth, just give us time!
I think your car is fantastic and can't wait to ride in it. I also loved riding in _M_'s car. I wouldn't bail on my car for a regular GT, and the GT350 is out of my price range at this point in my career. Still, I'd own an Impact Blue GT350 with Recaros in a heartbeat. R is a pipe dream for me, but I'd get one if I could.
That Robevo guy means well, he's just opinionated and English is not his first language. He has a fully built rally car he races.Noize
That is a spirited debate over there. I think I need to take you for a longer ride with a few more turns. Ha
We will see soon enough when these things start getting tracked and where they fall versus others being discussed in that thread. All fun stuff to speculate on till we get real world data
I've known garagelogic on local forums for years, and he can attest that I was a stubborn idiot, while he had the patience and kindness of a saint. As I've gotten older, I've grown to respect all performance cars.
I have to defend my ricemobile a little bit, though. ;) Its AWD and focused on handling first. Currently 3355 lbs with a full tank of gas, 265/35/18 Pilot Super Sports. Ohlins R&T coilovers and bolt on breather mods for 348whp/355wtq dynojet. I have a mild turbo and injector upgrade set for install on the 20th of this month, and am hoping for a Voodoo like powerband of 420whp and 360wtq. (obviously lots less power than the Ford 5.2) Should put it on par with a previous Evo I had that went 11.8@117 at Beech Bend.
Thanks for letting me weigh your cars. I'm really enjoying this forum and the camaraderie you guys share.
