Taking car in for CEL

Got the evap codes twice now. Gonna take it in soon. Should I even bother hiding my AP3 from them and returning to stock tune?

I would ALWAYS return to stock when leaving a tuned car at the dealer. If they flash your PCM, it could screw up the tune. That is certainly the case with Ecoboosts so I presume it is true for Coyotes as well.

They can figure out via IDS if the car has been tuned by key cycle counts... so it’s not going to matter if anyone tries to “hide” a tune or reflash back to stock.

You can also tell what was in it before as far as what calibration was in the car. Mode 9 data

Hope they don’t deny me because of the AP3 though. I can’t imagine they would. The AP has nothing to do with the evap. I think. And it’s a common known issue with these cars apparently.
