Any newbies that can comment on difficulty of getting one of these installed? I'm a pretty diy guy but I've never tinted anything and I'm not 100% sure that I can pull this off. Can anyone comment on the difficulty of this job?

I recently got the Anchor room one. It came out horrible. Every piece of the 6 pieces either had too many bubbles or melted from my heat gun, even on low setting. Not to say it's anchor room's fault, but I tore them off and threw them away. Think I'll just take off the tail lights and spray them with VHT Nightshade like I did with my Veloster.

I've got some red tint for my tail lights (as I'm in the UK and we have those clear tail lights), but need to know what shape to cut them to - if anyone has any time to take photos of the shapes / template for the tail lights & upload them to hear, I'd really appreciate it. [emoji3]

As many people that there are who want the clear ones you'd be better off trying to trade with someone. Only problem is both parties would be tail light-less for a while.

As long as you take your time and use soapy water you'll be fine. You just have to make sure you have it aligned before you start smoothing it out. It took me about an hour and a half to do mine. First car I've done it on. I screwed up the first one I did but I went through anchor room so they were able to sell me that one piece at a discount instead of having to pay full price for all six pieces. Again, just takes a lot of patience and soapy water.

I used the Big Worm Graphics tail light tints. I only applied vinyl 1 other time to promote a shop that did some work for me for a show and I did terrible with lots of bubbles. I thought the BWG tints were very easy. I just used lots of water, no soap and a heat gun on low to get around the sharp corner. They came out great!

Same here. First time I applied it, there were too many bubbles and whatnot. So I tore then off and ordered another with the goof off warranty (50% off) and this time I got a pro to install it for me. Looks great now!
