Hey ScottsGT,

Is it possible that you had the media portion turned off in your personal phone prior to the reflash? If you are able to do this, open your Bluetooth settings in your phone (while paired to SYNC), and open the options for the SYNC connection. Most phones have MEDIA and PHONE separated and you can un-check MEDIA. Give it a try and let me know if that helps!

Rebecca
Nope. I have been uising my personal cell at home (Wi-Fi) all the time on my bluetooth speakers. Nothing has changed on my phone.

Hey bud did you try forgetting the old SYNC entry in your bluetooth settings on your iPhone?

Settings > Bluetooth > My Devices - next to SYNC tap the (i) icon and click 'Forget This Device'

then re-pair them.

Yes. Had to do this to reload the phones into the system after reflash. I've actually done it several times and re-synced to see if that helps.

I'll submit the concern for review. Please send a PM with your VIN, name, email, address, contact number, and current SYNC version.

Also, include your carrier, phone iOS version and the troubleshooting you have tried.

If the issue began after an update, please include that information as well.
PM sent. It reads like a book.

The setting the rep is talking about is in the car.. they are saying to disable the media streaming on that phone so it defaults to the other phone.. that will fix your issue..

Oh...so much to be confused about here. :headbonk:

I'll try it as soon as I get off work.

Ok, tried this tonight. It did kill the audio from my personal cell, but when I started the car it could not find my work phone. It actually searched and then switched back over to FM radio. I had to select the blue tooth setting and select the work phone. It seems that for some reason it doesn't want to find that phone. I'm going to try dumping that phone from the system and start over with it.

Just did more playing around. Here's what I have found.
Personal cell selected as favorite. Before shut down, I had work phone selected as Blue Tooth player.
Start car and while watching my work cell's blue tooth connect on the phone, the Sync cannot find it. Constantly in search mode. I can sit there for 10 min. and it will not sync (pair) with the work phone until I go to the screen where I select the Blue Tooth source as my work phone. As soon as I click on work phone, the phones screen indicates it has been connected to the Sync system and Pandora from the work phone starts playing.

I tested this in my car and it worked perfectly.. I went to settings and turned off the media streaming on the phone for conversation.. And when I went to Bluetooth it went straight to my other phone..
