Yes, well technically it's part 2 of step 1 on the website (download to computer). What I posted is what happened when attempting that step. Tried again just now, same result.:tsk:

dont bother a master reset the wifi checking is useless and it wont likely update over wifi anyway..problem is when the first update ever 2.2 came out it was out on wifi but took days to download so it was slow..ford mentioned bite-size portion updates frequently released over wifi but they didnt so the in the next update 2.3 it has to be done via usb which is faster..get a 32GB minimum drive

You need a drive with 32GB FREE. Very important!!! A 32GB sick does not have 32GB free. I'm dealing with this issue right now. Had to get a 64GB to make sure that there is 32 free.

I did the 2.3 update with a new 32gb drive I bought from Walmart yesterday. It worked fine. I plan on doing the latest update with the same drive this weekend. 32gb is enough

Got it to work. May have been the flash drive. Bought a Scandisk 64gb, and updated in about 20 minutes.
