Sync applink?

I was looking through the manual and saw sync applink. I am assuming my car doesn't have it since none of the commands for it work.

What cars do have it? I also saw this...

Note: AppLink is not available if your
vehicle is equipped with the MyFordTouch
system.

So because I have myfordtouch I don't have applink? I don't get it.

I'm disappointed too that Applink isn't supported on MyFord Touch. Early in the year there was promotional articles that it would be coming in the 2015 mustang, but it hasn't. I'm hopefull it's just an update to come soon.

Very disappointed that my 2013 V6 mustang had it but not the 2015? Ford dropped the ball on that one.

I used pandora on my car today. I can skip tracks and pause with my steering wheel. Controls that app just fine without applink

While fumbling through the myford touch, I saw that there was an "install apps" feature. I was wondering what apps are out there that would be useful to download? I understand there are only a few apps out there. How do we do this?

I honestly don't think you can install any apps with that. I haven't been able to find anything about it.

Thats not entirely true. Tell me how you change a channel or thumbs up and down a song without going to your phone.
