So I was listening to satellite radio and I went to activate the siri eye's feature by holding the button of the steer wheel for 3 secs. The music on the satellite radio paused and I can see that is switched my input to Bluetooth but siri never came on.

However if I try to use the siri eyes function while I am listening to Bluetooth music it works just fine.

As anyone else experiencing this problem?

This is an iOS 9.2.x bug. Apple's fixed it in the 9.3 beta 2 release so it's a matter of waiting it out for the official drop of 9.3.

Just to confirm, the same thing happens to me. It will switch to the Bluetooth input only at first. Then if I press the button for 3 seconds I can access Siri while Bluetooth is activated. Then I have to switch back to the input I was originally using.

Annoying for sure, but glad to hear it is a known bug and set to be fixed.

Yes that is exactly what I'm dealing with. I don't remember it doing that before. Once the siri eyes was offered I thought to myself, "I can live with this radio". But now I can't stand it. Once the update for carplay is available for sync 3 I will spend the money to do a swap.

I got my car last July. I considered waiting for a 2016 for Sync3 and Carplay, but ended up getting a fantastic deal on mine. I had Sync2 in my Focus ST and was happy with it. For the most part I am still happy with Sync2 and now with the delays in deploying Carplay, I am even happier. :)

Anyone update yet to see whether the issues in this thread have been resolved?

I can confirm that iOS 9.3 now works as expected with my iPhone 6 instead of switching Sync 2 over to the Bluetooth input.
