OP, with how much you have in all other parts build not sure if you skimped out on fueling

My GT 350 was making 920 hp at the wheels @16 psi /ID1300’s / triple pumps
if you are making close to that @15psu , could the 1050’s /dual pump be maxed out ?
Not OP, but I thought about this and he said logs looked good. Personally at that level I would jump up to ID1300s and either a triple pump setup or at least twin 285s.

How much timing?

Something not adding up here. You should be able to handle 15 psi easily with that motor build. e85 only exaggerates the point (safe).
Exactly, I have the motor out we shall see what the issue is…..but I’m not worried she’ll live to fight another day.

So sorry to hear about the issues. Why the jump to CPC versus keeping the FPC? I may be wrong, but out of all the high horsepower voodoos out there, the crank seems to be a strong point. Though just a sample size, I believe Fathouse uses FFRE for their built engines and they retain the flat plane crank up to ~2,000hp in their fox body.

Based on your description, fueling and tuning seemed spot on, so it seems like a freak motor failure. Also, when you say you can turn the redline up to 8,200 on the new build, why is your current rev limiter lower?
Current rev limiter is at stock redline but all of the harmonics and vibrations eat these motors alive. I’ll make way more power with the CPC and she’ll live longer.

I’ve have this motor on a 3.25 pulley numerous of times no issues but the other day was the first time I’ve had any issues.

I don’t drive the car much because I have a GT500 as well, but I had been meaning to do ID1300 on the upgrade.

Very cool…. that’s my dream garage there…. but with the conversion you will effectively have a predator engine in both cars .
May be build at least one “spare“ predator for both cars?
I am building one complete with blower (have all the parts and just have to assemble ) but with 12:1 CR
… I don’t have a GT 500(wish I did ) but was planning to swap it into a Fox body with a Tremc Magnum and already have the Ford performance control pack for it that was recently released .

Unfortunately I don’t have a 2020+ GT500, I have a 2014 GT500 that is fully built. Man that is going to be a sick build in a Foxbody.

Harmonics makes sense. I am not sure of the cost difference or even what all is involved, but why not just keep this engine off to the side (for an eventual rebuild) and throw in a Predator short block?

if he does, he will need to swap the cams too .

Lund stated I’m good for 1,200 on the fuel system but the injectors were good for 17psi

Any updates? Any idea of a rough estimate of how much something like this would cost to get done
