I have a 2019 gt premium with the standard seats from 401-a package with the heated and cooled functions but am looking to swap to the OEM recaro seats out of the same year car. Wondering if anyone has done the same and could give me some info on the wiring if it has to be modified or if it’s plug and play. Also if it would give any error codes or anything considering the new seats aren’t heated/ cooled. I saw some other forums but it seems they are swapping from the recaros to the seats I have so not sure. Thanks

I did this on a GT500 which most likely has the same seat wiring. Pulled out the heated and cooled, installed Recaros. They plugged right up and no error codes. However, it cancels out the ability to recall the saved memory settings that effect the digital dash colors and sideview mirrors.

So basically it’s works like factory until u attempt to use any of the buttons on the door or my mode etc. when removing the seat is there anything for ac/heat that needs to be disconnected aswell
