I've got the CB005 and FP toe/knuckle bearing now, and I did notice a big improvement with the CB005 especially. This time round I want to tackle handling first, then counter any hop. I have read the autos are less susceptible to wheel hop, but not sure how that correlates with the brutality of drag mode in the 10 speed, especially down the strip.

Plan after springs and bars would be CB005, BK081 and the toe/knuckle bearing depending on requirement. I will be running a set of MT drag radials on the strip too

Alternatively Lethal's bread and butter BMR pack looks good, but don't think I need to go too overboard lol

I honestly don't know if the autos have less wheel hop, even so I don't think its a night and day difference compared to the manual. That being said, its best to go with the order you want, but aren't you going to take the CB005 and Toe to Link Bearing off the old one and transfer it to the new one and return it to stock? Unless you didn't save the OEM parts.

With the MT radials and the mods you listed you should have near zero wheel hop, ive heard great things about them as a drag tire.

Lethal's bread and butter package is great plus you save few dollars, it actually may be the best starting point, but personally I'm going to just take it one mod at a time.

I am considering taking the CB005 off now, the toe link is more effort than value, I'd just buy a new one. At this stage I just need the car gone though, the MY19 arrived in the country today lol.

My issue with the bread and butter pack is that Lethal's shipping to Australia is damn expensive, and I am going off Kelly's advice that people often go overboard with autos. I think probably because you can load up the suspension on the line, unlike the manual. So I don't want to go too crazy, plenty of other mods to do too haha

Congrats on the new car!

Yea the shipping alone will probably isnt worth it. Is shipping any parts from the US usually expensive? Or will some places ship free still? Having to export sounds like it can be a pain.

Haha yes, there are other plenty of other mods to do!

Thanks! No free shipping to Aus, but some places are better priced than others. Shipping on the springs from Jegs was $100USD, and I saved a lot compared to others lol

I have Magneride on mine with the M-5300-W springs from FP.

I also have the CB005, steeda diff bushing kit and the steeda subframe alignment kit. The car is not harsh in any way. In normal mode it is very civilized even though I have 20"

However at some time it feels like the rear end is loose, not loose in a way of the tires spinning but it feels little spungy. Maybe swaybars would make it more planted.

The subframe alignment kit was a really needed, the subframe was shifted a bit.

I think I understand what you mean about the rear feeling spongy? Vague is the term I have used. When I installed a bearing in the rear lower control arm the vague feeling from the rear end went away.

Toe-knuckle bearing + RLCA bearing are useful mods.

How are the P51 wheels? did you notice a difference with the weight saved?

I should be able to let everyone know how the Magneride shocks work with the Steeda springs in 2 or 3 weeks. Have a load of Steeda suspension bits ordered just waiting for them to be delivered then schedule the install. Also to be installed at the same time are the GT350R brake kit and P51 wheels. Looking forward to sharing my experiences with everyone.

I wish I could tell all parts apart from the subframe alignment kit was installed before I picked the car up.

Thanks for the input, I will have a look at that.

I wonder then how the car feels without any of these parts installed...
