[MENTION=14340]HybridGT[/MENTION] runs them with his 20" Velgens. Car rides so smooth, I've been converted and will be getting them when I decide to lower. I have not ridden in a stock car yet to compare though, will be doing it for looks and lower centre of gravity
Definitely smoother than stock for sure. Instant difference when comparing the same roads I usually take.

Performance wise, they're not going to be better than some of the other stuff out there. But for my needs, they are perfect. Especially paired with the Steeda sways. Dial in the front/rear stiffness to just what you want PLUS ride comfort. Hope you're happy with them too :thumbsup:

Seems that Pedders have a coilover kit.
Fully threaded body and adjustable damping.
$1990
No further details yet, waiting to hear back from them.
Also, Hakon. Fully threaded, adjustable damping.
Circa $1200 from memory.

Nah just the originals. Didn't feel that I needed them after all the other stuff in.

I decided to ask some questions of Pedders today, after seeing their Coilovers available in the UK for ÂŁ800 ($1550AUD)... Advertised price on their website, $1990ish.
Priced from local dealer, $1890 plus delivery...

The spring rates are as below:

Front Coil: 7kg/mm (392Lb/In)
Rear Coil: 14kg/mm (784Lb/In)

Pedders UK is a Re-Seller of Pedders Products and because of that he can charge whatever he likes. Whether he is at a losing margin or not. There is a lot of competition in Europe and he has to meet the demand by lowering his prices.

Hopefully this information was of help to you.

For those who are wondering, these spring rates are the firmest I've yet seen, for either Coilovers or springs alone.

Pedders are traditionally just resellers of others peoples gear, with a bit of their red paint on it. It would be interesting to see who makes their stuff....others will be selling it cheaper.

That XYZ kit looks like cheap re branded Taiwanese/Korean shit. They'll fine if you just want to go low, but I bet they don't do much of an improvement on the handling side.

That said, the Shockworks and MCA componentry are also made in the same places but to their specs. Though you'll get aftermarket support and a kit that has been actually tested on the car for not much more dollar wise.

It all seems to be commonplace. So many of these kits look identical to one another, other than the anodising colour used...
I'm about over it.
The Eibach kit at least looks like it might be their own design with the added bonus of some testing.
For reference, the Pedders kit uses a front spring that is around 33%heavier than even the BMR performance spring, whilst the rear is a little lighter...
Did BMR do their homework?
Are Pedders just making up numbers or did they actually do some homework on this?
The Pedders kit will offer a MINIMUM drop of 30mm according to Courtney, buyer beware is all I'm saying.

Theres a ton of threads in the suspension section. Ford Racing track pack struts with steeds linear seems like a common combo recommend by [MENTION=10530]MustangCollector[/MENTION] . And there's a thread on all common Spring rates

I'm absolutely unsure what I'm going to do, although I DO know that a 1" drop isn't enough for me.

Disclaimer: I live in Mildura, possibly the flattest place on earth and the roads are pretty good too... With lots and lots of roundabouts....
Not tracking the car. Just want reasonable ride quality and much less roll/pitch when I'm getting up it.

I'm either going to go with Sportlines or coilovers (but not stupid cheap or ridiculously expensive ones).
If I was looking for less drop, and could live with a little rake in the car, I'd be seriously looking at BMRs handling springs. But I just can't stand the way the car sits with them installed. Just not my thing.
In any case, I will certainly be swapping out the factory sway bars, most likely going with the Eibach stuff.

Which leaves these options:
A. Sportlines on factory shocks (cost effective solution but ride quality?)
B. Sportlines and Koni yellows
C. Eibach "pro street coilovers" - Eibach Australia said these would be available around mid year. Local pricing should be around $2000 but I've seen them in the US at $1200 USD, add exchange rate and freight, should be less than $2000...

Why go that path?
Well, firstly, the springs and dampers will be perfectly mated to one another and aimed at the more aggressive end of the street market.
Also, if you find the car is too low/not low enough, it's easily fixed without removing anything/having to purchase more stuff...
This is one mod I'm going to hold-off until nearer delivery date.
Who knows what will hit the market in the near future?

Regardless of any of that, I'm thinking the Steeda bump steer kit needs to be a serious consideration for anyone looking to lower their vehicle properly.

Camber kits I'm not so sure of. It seems that a lot of the people running aftermarket wheels and tyres are deliberately leaving what I would call "excessive" camber in the rear just to get the tyres to clear the guards.
I'm not down with chewing the crap out of good tyres just to achieve a certain look.
To me, that's arse-backwards engineering.
These are my thoughts at this point in time. Subject to change at any point between now and October....
I'm all for an engineered solution.

I spoke to a few engineers about this and the dampers and coils need to be matched and work together.

I'll be also making sure my wheel selection goes "hand in glove" with the dampers and coils I put on my baby.
