I'm interested in a supercharger. I have basic kids everyone does. Cai,tune, exhaust. My question is can I still get decent power with a supercharger without headers upgrade? And do you have to upgrade transmission and suspension or anything else to handle the power?

You should get Suspension mods to firm up the rear end. Wheel hop is terrible in this car. Irs bushings, vertical links, and subframe braces should be enough.

No other mods are need to supercharge the car and enjoy it. Headers, Suspension, Drive train and other things will just enhance the experience, but you can perfectly accomplish it with a stock car and enjoy it.

Its all about what your goals are for the car and what you will use it for.

I've got the Procharger D head with Gibson cat backs and it is putting down 668RWHP & 558RETQ. Other mods include a McLeod RST Clutch & flywheel, MGW shifter, 3.5" one piece drive shaft, DDS 800HP half shafts, Steeda sub frame bushings & vertical links. All of the mods I mention are because of the power. It all depends on how you plan to use the car. Just get on it once & a while and most of what I have done probably not necessary. Plan to race it and they probably are. I have tracked the car twice and my best time is 12.3 at 120MPH. Lousy time because of Lousy driver. Should have gotten the automatic. I will probably never put on the headers. Love the power & sound I am getting now.

Being SC is like being out of breath , taking deep breaths and exhaling through a coffee stir stick, with out headers. Can you do it? Sure... but it's gonna hold you back. Your half shafts are a MUST. Oil pump upgrades and timing chain sprocket are optional, but a good thing to do also. Really, it just depends on what you wanna do with it. Travis@boosworks is a good guy to PM. He will answer what ever questions you may have. I know they have a pretty sick build going on right now. Plus he's a pretty cool dude.

Our complete kit makes the most power of the complete kits. There is no question you can make incredible power, reliably with our system without headers. Most are getting 660rw+ on 91 octane and more on 93. We did extreme durability testing developing the software and calibration and have our own unique software with sophisticated protection systems in place. You add this to the front feed, bigger intercooler, 2.9L twin screw.... and you have exactly what you need.

You have lots of options, in the end it comes down to budget and goals. If you have any questions at all, tech, install etc just give us a shout.

Which of the centuri blowers has the least gear whine? Not fussed about top end noise but want the least noise at idle and cruse conditions.

What 1/4 mile times would you expect to run with the procharger d1sc ?
Running e85 fuel.

You have stated that you have switched to a ysi unit on your car running the 9.3s but are over speeding the unit now.

What times do you think are achievable full weight with the procharger d1sc.

Thanks for the info
