Suggestions on PP1 damaged spoiler

I recently purchased a 2019 GT with the PP1 package. The spoiler came from the factory damaged so I complained to the dealership I bought it from. The dealer said Ford told them to repair the spoiler (not sure if 100% true) vs replacing it. My question is should I just let them repair it and be done or demand it be replaced since it's a brand new car.

I wouldn't much care. And FWIW, you'll have a dealer painted spoiler either way.

It’s very hard to tell from your uploaded pic due to how the image was taken, but are you referring to what appears to be a blem on the top??

They’re not going to pull off the spoiler to replace because if that is the blem, they can easily have their or contracted body shop scuff, prep and repaint/clear the area and you’ll never even know the difference.

Even if Ford were to supply a replacement, it’s not coming painted body color - it would come primer, that’s it. The Service Center would still need to have their or contracted body shop do prep/paint/clear.

On eBay there’s several 2018-19 PP1 rear spoilers that are new take offs:

Thanks for the advice I'll let them go ahead with the repair and see how it looks.
