I've made a similar thread not too long ago regarding the base system. It sounds 'fine', but I can't help but want a bit more from it.

I've been considering the Rockford Fosgate powered subwoofer. Would this help ? I'm not crazy about a complete overhaul of the system, both for the fact of it tearing up the car but also the 1k in total cost for it.

Would a solid 10 inch subwoofer help the woe's of the base system!?

I installed the 12" powered sub last year and still love it. The install was easy and definitely enough base to shake the mirrors. My kids love it because they feel like they're getting a massage in the back seat when I turn the bass up. Definitely worth the money

I went and purchased a Rockford Fosgate 12 inch self powered sub. The plan is to have it professionally installed sometime this week.

Not sure how I feel about replacing the speakers, that might wait a bit longer.

Best Buy quoted me at over $300 dollars for a powered subwoofer install, including wiring kit. What wiring kit do I need for a powered subwoofer (Rockford fosgate 12 inch)
