Are these an important thing for the S550 platform? I know on my former SN95 cars they made a huge difference, but that was an old 1979 Chassis. Does the S550 platform need these at all? Or just get jacking rails and be done with it?

I started with the Steeda “Stop the Hop” kit which includes subframe braces. It made a huge difference in wheel hop and traction as a whole

Been wondering the same. I have a lift so I don’t plan on jacking the car up with these but I feel like they can help handling. Always had subframe connectors on my older mustangs but now I’m not sure if I need them. Maybe someone with real info can chime in and explain.

BMR CB005 cradle lockout kit gets rid of 80-90% of the movement and wheel hop, and actually makes the rear feel connected to the rest of the car. Add a set of RLCA bearings like BK081 and you'll be able to put power down extremely effectively, and you'll also have a better handling and riding car.

The chassis itself is quite strong, but jacking rails do act as a subframe connector of sorts. Along with some of the other mentioned suspension mods will really tighten the car up.

I added the Steeda subframe connectors, tightened the car up nicely.
