I recently installed two 8in Skar subs and amp in my 2019 mustang gt base. I used a lc2i audio controller and tapped into the rear speakers. Also tapped into the 12v switched that’s with the rear speaker wires, that is for the rear camera. Everything works perfect and it has no problems when the car is actually on or when playing music. But when I power the car off the subs will randomly pulse. It usually happens after about a minute or so, sounds like a heartbeat. I have checked grounds and wiggled all connections and cannot get it to replicate the pulse, it just does it randomly. I am thinking it happenes when the lc2i is powering off? But sometimes it will not do it at all, so I am not sure. Seems like any little think will power on the amp and lc2i, opening a door or getting close to the car with the key. Anybody running the same setup with an audio converter tapped into the rear speakers, any issues?

That's typical when doing LOCs and using the wrong turn on signal. It's called turn on/-off pop and happens when the car actually shuts down the amp that is feeding the speakers.

Therefor you should never ever use a LOC if the car allows to integrate in much better ways as was explained approximately a quazillion times in this and other Ford forums.

If your installer actually recommended you the LOC look out for an installer who knows his stuff and stay far away from the former installer as he obviously doesn't know shit about proper integration into a car audio system.

What other way is there to integrate it besides a aftermarket head unit or an amp with high level speaker inputs? The installer is me😔 i didn’t get advice from anyone besides reading through forums and seems like a few people use a LOC or an amp with a loc and use forscan .

See? Amp with high level input. Most of them even have signal sense so they turn on automatically. No LOC needed.
Rear signal in addition is highpass, it doesn’t even get a full bass signal.
A bit more research in here would’ve told you that.
As far as I know this info is in one of the sticky threads.
